God, please give us a servant spirit as we travel.

Today, let’s really focus on the fact that we are going to serve. We are not vacationing. We are not in charge. We are not in control. We are submitting ourselves to serve God in his time, where he wants, and how he wants. Remember that it may be nothing like what we have planned. We may all haul blocks. We may all hold hands. We may all do nothing but pray. But let’s remember that we are His servants. Period. Make that be at the forefront of our minds as we travel. Let’s put our own agenda, our individualism, our sense of self importance and self righteousness aside and just SERVE CHRIST.
